BELIZE DEFENCE FORCE OFFICER SELECTION

The Ministry of National Security wishes to inform the general public that the Belize Defence Force will be conducting an Officer Selection Board Examination on the Friday 18th and Saturday 19th January 2013 respectively starting at 7:00 a.m. 

 


The examination will be conducted at Price Barracks, Ladyville to select potential officers for training at Sandhurst Officer Training Academy, United Kingdom; the United States Military Academy.Successful applicants will be required to join the Belize Defence Force Regular Element.

Applicants must be Belizeans Citizens, physically and mentally fit, between the ages of 18 and 23 years, with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree or any additional qualifications will be an asset.  Candidates interested in attending training at

at the United States Military Academy at West Point are required to sit the American College Test (ACT) prior to attending training. Applicants are to bring along proof of citizenship, photo identification card, educational qualification and a recent Police Record.  They must be prepared to stay for two days and do written, practical and physical assessments, and interviews.  Adequate clothing is required for the physical assessment.
